Joie de Vivre

Served straight-up in a martini glass and garnished with fresh grapes, this no-fuss cocktail is made a standout by a final mist of absinthe that tickles the nose and awakens the palate.

  • 4 red grapes
  • 3/4 ounce vodka
  • 3/4 ounce Cocchi Americano
  • 1/2 ounce St-Germain liqueur
  • 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • Ice
  • Mist of absinthe


  • Martini glass


  • Orange peel and grapes


  • Muddle 4 grapes in a mixing glass then add the remaining ingredients, except for the absinthe, and ice and shake until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a martini glass then zest with an orange peel and mist with absinthe. Garnish with grapes.
