London Fog

May 1969
Most recipes for this cocktail call for it to be served in a red-wine glass over shaved ice. That would make it a frappé. If it were served in a rocks glass, it would be a mist, which is kind of like a fog after all.

In a container of shaved ice stir 1 1/2 ounces gin with 1/4 ounce Pernod. Serve the drink in a well-chilled cocktail glass. Makes 1 drink.
