Pelt Patrol

10.19.06

A number of Spanish mink farms were vandalized recently. The activists responsible for releasing upward of 15,000 furry little rodents coaxed the fair-haired fur bearers off the farms by baiting the outside walls with fish. Fish, apparently, unlike mink, don’t have souls worth saving. I can only hope these great rescuers of pelt were cognizant enough to use a sustainable seafood source. The irony will be especially thick for their next prank: when our animal-loving heroes lure foie gras ducks to safety using the very corn they’ll be rescued from.
