Key Notes: Loisium Hotel,
Langenlois, Austria

continued (page 2 of 2)

LIKED LEAST:
The twiggy, cork-inspired design element that shows up here, there, and everywhere, most dreadfully in the cut-glass railing of the main staircase (my husband commented that he felt it belonged in a rock-climbing gym) and in the room's sofa upholstery, done in vibrant black and gold, like a Terrible Towel gone terribly wrong.

WHO SHOULD STAY THERE?
Anyone who subscribes religiously to Dwell and can quote extensively from Sideways.

WOULD YOU GO BACK?
In a heartbeat. I find myself daydreaming about sipping a local Grüner while swinging in one of the hotel's comfortable wicker lounges, watching the setting sun cast long shadows through the grapevines heavy with fruit.
