1cupwhole milk
1cupsour cream
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
1tablespoonmild honey
2large eggs
3tablespoonsunsalted butter, melted

Preheat a waffle iron until hot.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cardamom.
