Corpse Reviver II

Kina Lillet, which was a lot more bitter than its closest relative, Lillet Blanc, is no longer produced (it’s also an ingredient in James Bond’s signature drink, The Vesper). Most bartenders simply substitute Lillet Blanc, but if you can find a bottle of Cocchi’s Aperitivo Americano, you’ll come a lot closer to the intended flavor. Instead of “1/4 wine glass” we suggest using a pony or other ounce measure.
In a cocktail shaker with plenty of crushed ice, combine 1/4 wine glass of each of the following: lemon juice, Kina Lillet, Cointreau, dry gin. Add a dash of Absinthe, and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
