Gatherings at my house always have an array of imported cheeses, brick-oven breads, Italian wines, homemade hors d’oeuvres, spreads, and more. But what can I never make enough of? Pigs in blankets! Without pigs in blankets, it seems, no gathering or cocktail party is complete. They are always the first to go. They are not just for kids. So don’t be embarrassed to serve them or eat them in public. Pigs in blankets are no longer a 1950s culinary cliche and are popular at parties once again. So as the holidays approach, this piggy is going to the market!
