                This is another strange blast from the past that I found among Mom’s clippings.  I do remember this one; Mom was very fond of it. “So unusual,” she’d say as she softened the cream cheese,“and so easy.                                             small package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened

                                            cup
                                            grated sharp Cheddar cheese

                                            teaspoons
                                            dry Sherry

                                            teaspoon
                                            curry powder

                                            teaspoon
                                            salt

                                            8-ounce jar mango chutney, finely chopped

                                            Beat first 5 ingredients together.

                                            Pat out into a 1/2-inch thick round on a pretty plate. Chill.

                                            Spread with chutney, sprinkle with scallions.  Serve with crackers.
