Since 2005, Julia Langbein has affectionately poked fun at restaurant critic Frank Bruni through her blog, The Bruni Digest. After eight years of eating, writing, and performing stand-up and sketch comedy in New York City, she is a recent transplant to Chicago, where she is pursuing graduate studies in art history. She is that girl you saw conspicuously washing down a ham hock with a bottle of port in the quietest reading room of the Chicago public library.
