Chef: Jean-Georges Vongerichten

Olympian: Michael Phelps, Men's Swimming

Inspiration: The fast-paced sport of swimming would be a welcome environment for Vongerichten, who stands at the helm of 15 restaurants around the world, just one less than the overall number of Olympic medals won by American swimmer Michael Phelps. "I have always been a huge fan of the water and love to swim for exercise and recreation," Vongerichten says. The chef is a longtime fan of the water and has high hopes this summer for Phelps, who will be competing in seven events at the London Games.
